Copyright & Content Removal

Content rights and removal requests — information for contributors and rights holders.

Muzelle aims to respect copyright, attribution, museum imaging terms, cultural heritage protocols and the rights of original creators. This page explains what information is useful when raising a concern about materials on the platform.

Before submitting a concern

Please identify the material at issue and the precise webpage or course where it appears. If a museum restricts reproduction of collection photographs or a community has an applicable cultural protocol, explain the relevant restriction.

What to include in a request

  • The webpage address or course title identifying the material
  • A description of the image, recording, text, document or other content
  • The basis for your concern, including ownership, authorization or applicable cultural restrictions
  • A reliable contact method so the team can request clarifying information
  • The action requested: attribution correction, temporary restriction, or removal

How the review should work

When a functioning rights-reporting channel is activated, reports will be reviewed before a decision. The team may request more information, restrict disputed content while assessing it, make corrections, or remove material where appropriate. We do not promise a fixed response time before the support process is operational.

Where to find contact information

Consult the Contact page for approved public support details once configured. Please do not upload sensitive identity records or ownership documents into general-purpose public forms.
