Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is Muzelle?

A museum-focused online learning platform featuring courses in curatorial practice, museum tour guiding, visitor education, conservation, interpretation and regional or world history.

Is this a museum collections website?

No. The platform is for teaching and learning. Museums and instructors do not need to disclose restricted collections or upload protected museum records or images.

Who can teach lessons?

Professionals such as curators, museum educators, guides, conservators and qualified subject specialists may apply to teach. Identity, credentials and any claimed museum affiliation require review.

Can instructors suggest new subjects, such as History of Thailand?

Yes. Approved instructors will be able to propose new subjects when there is no equivalent topic or course. The editorial team checks for duplicates and approves proposals before adding categories. The submission form is currently being tested.

How do I find courses?

Visit the Learning Topics or Courses page. Categories without published lessons will be filled as approved instructors release courses.

Are courses free?

The platform plans to offer free and paid courses. Any paid course must disclose its terms before checkout. Paid checkout and refunds are subject to separate launch testing.

How do I apply to teach?

Read Teach a Museum Course and the Editorial Standards. Applications and editorial review will open after the workflow is tested.
